    The Hollins basketball team looked to pick up their second win of the season and even their early record at 2-2. After falling to N.C. Wesleyan in the opening game of the 2018 Jean Edge Classic, Hollins faced Methodist University in their final game before the Thanksgiving break.
  • Hollins Falls In Road Opener

    After starting the season, 1-1, with a pair of home games, the Hollins basketball team went on the road for the first time in 2018-19. Hollins would face the host, North Carolina Wesleyan, in the first of two games at the 2018 Jean Edge Classic.
  • Hollins Bounces Back In A Big Way

    Two days after opening the 2018-19 season with a home loss to Mary Baldwin, the Hollins basketball team was back in action, on their home floor, when they played host to Trinity Washington University. Both teams came in looking for their first victory of the young season.
  • Hollins Falls In Season Opener

    The 2018-19 basketball season kicked off on Sunday afternoon when Hollins hosted Mary Baldwin in their season opener. The Squirrels won on Friday night while Hollins looked to get the Emilee Dunton era off to a good start. Coach Dunton took over the helm of the program in early October.

    The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) unveiled the 2018-19 Women's Basketball Preseason Poll at their annual media day on Thursday morning. Hollins, as voted on by the league's coaches, was tabbed to be 13th in the conference standings.
  • Hollins Names Dunton Head Basketball Coach

    Director of Athletics Myra Sims is pleased to announce the hiring of Emilee Dunton as the new head basketball coach at Hollins University. The position was vacated in August when previous head coach Jenny Logan resigned to accept the coaching position at Eastern Mennonite University.
